NASCENT Awarded Gate System Contract for the Portsmouth, Virginia Terminal
Charlotte, NC - February 7, 2007 -- NASCENT Technology, LLC (NASCENT), the leading provider of technical solutions for the transportation industry, has been awarded a contract from APM Terminals (APMT) to provide its SYNAPSE™ Gate System for the new, state-of-the-art terminal on the Elizabeth river in Portsmouth, Virginia.
The Portsmouth terminal will be the first major privately developed container terminal in the United States. Featuring 3,200 feet of berth space, the 230-acre facility will serve as a Mid-Atlantic platform for future growth.

The SYNAPSE™ AGS system allows terminals to increase efficiency and reduce error rates.
